Amelia (Mia) Bedelia

Lab Happiness Manager

I’m a mini bernedoodle and the Lab Happiness Manager of the ACORN lab! I earned my dogtoral degree in puppy training school and completed a post-dogtoral fellowship at the dog park near my house. My current research focuses on attention to sensory percepts (e.g., peanut butter), moving stimuli (e.g., bunnies in the yard), and auditory salience (e.g., squeaky toys). My prior work has investigated attention to social cues (e.g., mom arriving home from work) as well as ignoring of social cues (e.g., “don’t steal socks”). Outside of work, I love sleeping and chasing my friends!
